Answers before you book

How do I book Becoming One for my event?

Send an inquiry with your date, venue/city, event type, and guest count. If I’m available, we’ll hop on a quick call to lock in your vibe, timeline, and must-plays. Once you choose a package, you’ll get a clear quote and booking details to reserve the date.

What’s included in your DJ services and packages?

Packages typically include performance time, professional sound setup, and planning support for music + flow. Add-ons can include ceremony audio, extra hours, wireless mics, or simple lighting. If you’re not sure what you need, I’ll recommend a setup that fits your room and crowd.

Do you take requests and can you follow a “do-not-play” list?

Yes. You can share must-plays, nice-to-haves, and a do-not-play list in advance, and I’ll read the room live to keep energy up. I’m happy to take guest requests when they fit your style and the moment—your preferences always come first.

How far in advance should we reach out?

Earlier is better—popular weekends book out months ahead, especially for weddings and corporate dates. If your event is coming up soon, still reach out; if I’m available I can move fast and get planning started right away.

Can you provide your own sound system and microphones?

Absolutely. I can bring the right sound system for your venue size, plus microphones for speeches, toasts, and announcements. If you’re doing a ceremony or multiple rooms, let me know and I’ll plan the audio coverage accordingly.

What if we’re not sure what music we want yet?

That’s totally normal. We’ll start with a few questions about your crowd, favorite genres, and the kind of energy you want throughout the night. From there I’ll suggest a direction, share sample mixes if helpful, and build a plan that still leaves room to adapt in the moment.
